TYLER BECK(5-195yds) had two TD receptions - 62yds & 18yds. Beck also had a 52yd rec.The CARDS were the first team this year to score twice on GSL(11-0). The 3-time Class AAA defending State Champions GSL scored 4 times in the 2QT and led 37-6 at the half. GSL's Aaron Lueders scored his 5th TD in the 3QT. GSL limited the CARDS ground game to 29yds, while rushing for 400yds and only passing twice. Heinrich(6-17-195yds) completed a two point conversion pass to Peymann. Peymann also had a 71yd punt(CARD record). WILL HAWKINS, Guetter, Haycraft, Fausch, Bremmer(fum rec), led the "D". The Section 3AAA Runner-up CARDS finish 8-3. 05-06 CARDS were Section runner-ups also.

LOGAN PEYMANN had 2 key rec - a 33yd 3rd down clutch catch and the ultimate game winner on a 15yd reverse option pass from WR Beck. Peymann. Trailing 6-0 the CARDS scored twice in the 2nd QT. Heinrich(12-23-198yds) hit Beck(5-103yds) for 48yd strike & Haycraft(23-55yds) scored on a 1yd plunge coming on the heels of a 30yd flea-flicker pass to Adam Schultz(5-49yds). Guetter tipped away a 4th an ballgame pass over the middle to preserve the victory. Fausch(11tak), Guetter(10) & Bremer(sack) led the "D".

LOGAN PEYMANN had two INTs, the 2nd was off a tipped Fausch deflection late in the 4th QT. The INT at the goal line came after back to back SE scores which closed it to 32-22. The "O" line led by SCOTT HINES helped the CARDS jump out to a 26-6 half lead with 3TD runs(11-42-36) by Haycraft(27-225yds) and a 40yd TD run by Guetter(7-73yds). Haycraft added 3QT & 4QT TD runs(13yd-20yd) - Tyler Beck(6-115) had several highlight catches to keep drives going. Heinrich 8-14-1-140yds. LG KELLEN FAUSCH & RG JACOB GERDTS on Senior Night, opened holes for the CARD ball carriers to the tune of 367yds rushing. Haycraft(11-100yds) & Adam Schultz(5-79yds) had 1QT rushing TDs. Peymann hit Brandon Splinter on a fake X-tra pt try for 14-0 lead. Three scores in the 2QT - Haycraft 22yd run, Schultz 7yd catch, Heinrich(9-14-146yds) 1yd QB sneak, gave the CARDS a 35-0 halftime lead. The CARDS added two mores scores in the 4QT - RB Dakota Gilbertson 6yd run and RB Ross Wilken 78yd run. The defense was led by Hawkins FUM recovery and Zach Roggow INT. Roggow scored on the play but a block in back penalty was called. WR Tyler Beck had 3rec for 76yds.

CONNER GUETTER FB(12-115yds) scored on a 15yd run early in the 4th QT to tie it at 20-20. Then led Haycraft(24-88) around the end for a 13yd game winning TD run with 1:20 left in the contest. Heinrich((7-10-1-84yds) put the CARDS on the board in the 2QT with a 5yd TD carry and led a 2min drill ending with a Peymann(2rec-25yds) 11yd strike to give the CARDS a 14-12 half lead. WESTON BREMER recovered 2 fumbles, the 2nd leading to RB Haycraft's(28-109yds) insurance 5yd TD run late in the 4th Qt. Defense set the tone early - Duflo's 1st Qt 65yd TD INT return and a Heinrich(6-11-71yds) to Peymann 2nd QT 24yd TD pass-catch gave the CARDS a 14-6 halftime lead.

ADAM SCHULTZ had a key 4th & 8 grab and several key carries. Peymann added a 20yd FG. Beck & Brandon Splinter added key receptions.

RICHIE HAYCRAFT'S second 5yd TD run, after Logan Peymann's fake punt run early in the 3rd QT proved to be the game winner, he carried 29 times for 132yds. Peymann(4rec-45yds) added an insurance 10yd TD rec from Justin Heinrich(9-18-2-82yds) in the last minute. Joey Duflo opened the CARD scoring with a 21yd TD run. Followed by Haycraft's first TD run made it 12-8 CARDS at the half. Will Hawkins(8 tackles), Peymann(7tackles) led the defense.
