BASEBALL

MITCH PFINGSTEN Sibley East Tourney - 2-3, 2run HR, 4RBI in 8-3 win vs Nicollet. 2hits, 2RBI 8-2 win vs Sibley East.

LAST YEAR the boys finished 25-5 and finished tied for first in the SCC at 9-1 with New Ulm. The Cards defeated New Ulm twice, 3-2/8 innings and 8-3 to win the Section. At AA State the Cards defeated Roseau 3-2. Then lost the next two games, 3-0 to Holy Family Catholic - eventual champs, and 6-0 to Proctor in the Third Place Game

GIRLS SOFTBALL

MICAELA GOCHANOUR 2hits, inside-the-park HR, 3RBI in 8-7 win vs St Peter. 2-4, 3B in 7-3 loss to Waseca.

LAST YEAR the girls team finished 6-13 and finished fourth in the SCC at 3-7. The Cards lost 10-0 to New Ulm in the Class AA section 3 playoffs.

BOYS TRACK

PAYTON SCHLOMANN 1st 4x200(1:32.8), 4x100(49.99), 2nd 4x400(3:39.0) in 140/66/58/4 win vs Loyola/BEA/New Ulm. 1st 4x 400(3:31.9) at SCC Meet.

LAST YEAR the boys team finished 18-1-1 and finished 4th in the Section 2AA Meet. The Cards also finished 4th at the State 2A Meet. Ryan Heuer finished 1st - 14.99 110 Meter Hurdles and 2nd - 39.51 300 Meter Hurdles. The 4x100 team finished 3rd.

GIRLS GOLF

EMILY KIM 4th, 51-52-103 in Cards def of St Peter. 5th, 48 in 191/219/235 win over St James/New Ulm.

LAST YEAR the girls team finished 34-6 and finished first at the SCC Meet. The Cards finished 1st at the 2AA South Sub-Section. Lizzie Larson and Megan Rosol tied for 1st at the Section 2AA South Sub-Section Meet. The Cards won the Section 2AA Championship, Larson finished tied for 1st in the Section. The Cards then finished 8th at the 2AA State Meet. Larson tied for 52nd at the State Meet.

BOYS TENNIS

AUSTIN BECKER with #3 doubles partner Tyler Head defeated Woitas/Shaft, 6-2, 6-4 in 5-2 loss to Albert Lea. Finished second at #4 singles at SCC Meet losing to #1 seed St Peter's More 6-4, 7-5.

LAST YEAR the boys team finished 5-11. In the SCC Meet Bruno Beidacki was 1st in third singles and Grant Becker was 1st at fourth singles. In the Section 2A Meet the Cards defeated St James 4-3 before losing to St Peter 6-1 in the sem-finals. In the Section 2A Individual Meet Alex Kopischke finished 4th.

BOYS GOLF

SAM HAVENEN 47-51-98 in 18 hole 359-363 win vs St Peter. 47 in 9 hole 177-184 win vs Waseca.

LAST YEAR the team finished 4-16. The Cards finished 3rd at the SCC Meet. Also 3rd at the 2AA South Sub-Section Meet. The Cards finished 5th at the Section 2AA Meet. Josh Baldus finished 3rd at the Section Meet and 26th at the Class AA State Meet.

GIRLS TRACK

SASHA RILEY 1st 400(1:05.18), 1st 200(27.71), 1st 4x200(2:10.51) relay in 186/60/18 win vs New Ulm/Loyola.

LAST YEAR The girls team finished 20-0 and finished 3rd in the Section 2AA Meet. The Cards finished 40th at the State 2A Meet. Sasha Riley placed 5th in the 400(58.80). Megan Fuhrman placed 7th with PB pole vault of 10'. Sierra Schultz placed 9th in the triple jump 34-11 5.
