FOOTBALL-SOCCER TAKE SCC TITLES

The CARD football team claimed the South Central Conference crown with one conference & regular season game(St Peter) left on the schedule. It's Fairmont's first outright title since 1997.  The CARDs second half comeback 20-18 win was there 6th win and with a victory next week they wrap up the #1 seed and would have home field advantage for the section playoffs.  They also moved to 7th in the State Class 3A poll. The CARD Girls Soccer team also captured the SCC crown with a 4-1 record. The girls(8-7-2) ended their season with a playoff loss to Glencoe Silver Lake

NEWSLETTER - PAST ISSUES

  Conner Guetter(8-48yds) scored twice on a 13yd catch & 5yd run. Trailing 12-7 at the half, Martin Tow(3-90yds) hauled in Justin Heinrich's(12-26-210yds) 23yd pass early in the 4th to lead the CARDS to a come from behind victory over Waseca. Special teams star Will Hawkins(4rec-67yds) blocked a FG just before half. DE Andy Kotewa, LBs Taylor Kotewa(blocked punt)-Brock Frolik-Cody Vanasse-Guetter and DE Austin Smyth harassed the Waseca backfield all night. Next vs St Peter at Mahoney Field
